Terms of Service

These terms cover the hosted ShopOps software (shopops.ca, staff app, VIP portals) when you pay monthly or for setup. They are a working B2B summary — not a substitute for a lawyer.

1. Who this is for

ShopOps is business software for stone / surface fabricators and their invited partners. The shop is our customer. Staff and VIP users get access because the shop invited them.

2. The service

We host quoting, scheduling, shop floor, invoices, and related tools. Features change as we ship. We aim for uptime but do not sell a formal SLA in this version.

3. Fees

• Prices on /pricing and /pay are in CAD.
• Monthly subscriptions renew until you cancel (Stripe customer portal or email us).
• Setup is a one-time fee when offered.
• Failed card charges may pause new paid features until payment succeeds.

4. Your data

Quotes, jobs, slabs, and staff records in a shop workspace belong to that shop. We process them to run the product. See the Privacy Policy. You can request deletion at /data-deletion.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t break the law, scrape other shops’ data, or share logins outside your company. We may suspend an account that harms the service or other customers.

6. Liability

ShopOps is provided as-is for business use. We are not liable for lost jobs, missed installs, or fabricator quoting mistakes. Total liability is limited to fees you paid us in the prior three months.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued paid use after that date means you accept the update.
